Pay it forward

I've finally decided what I shall be making for my gorgeous pay it forward participants. I still need to collect a few more things, and then I'll be getting started! Here's a sneak peek at the beautiful things I'll be getting crafty with, I can't wait!

If you haven't already emailed me your address please drop me a line when you get a chance.

Something lovely to do together

Last night as I was browsing through blogland, I came across a lovely blog called With my own two hands and a post about paying it forward. What a wonderful idea! I was lucky to be among the first to sign up, and am very excited about playing along.

So here goes:

I promise something handmade to the FIRST 5 people who leave a comment here. However, to be eligible, you must repost this message, offering something handmade to 5 other people. The rules are that it must be handmade by you, and it must be sent to your 5 giftees sometime in 2011. Ready, set, GO!

Now I'm not one of the most crafty people in blogland (nor do I even come close, ha ha) but I do promise your gift will be made with love and something I am proud to pay forward. Once you are one of the first five to comment, please repost this on your own blog and send me the link. And don't forget to email me with your postal details.

Who will be receiving a lovely gift from A Country Wife? I can't wait to see xx

Our very merry Christmas

What a fantastic Christmas Day we had! Our babies were angelic, present opening was fabulous chaos, brunch delicious, afternoon snooze heaven, champagne cocktails divine, dinner mouthwatering and company fabulous. I was spoilt rotten and had a marvellous time hosting hubby's family.

Am I mad saying I wish I could do it all over again?

At the very least I will be making this drool worthy peppermint bark again, recipe courtesy of Kir from Little Red Writing Cook

I hope you and your families had a memorable day too xx
